The messenger app Telegram is required for participation.
“I saw you called? Haven’t heard from you in a while. It’s nice that you reached out. Back then I always knew what was going on with you.” This is the beginning of a chat about love, memory, and identity between two people who were once very close. Now they feel a distance and search for explanations for the new relationship, for the gaps and the shadows that can no longer be grasped. From time to time, a protagonist retreats into their memories – into games, like the ones in the video arcades they used to play so often: Maybe the answers need to be played out. The duo FEELINGS is known for its interactive story games. For HAU, the Berlin artists are developing an intimate conversation between two people of different generations. “How did this game go again?”

Please note before purchasing a ticket:
- i saw you called" is a game for the smartphone and is played in the messenger Telegram (download of the free Android or iPhone app here). The use of a smartphone is recommended, though the desktop version of Telegram may also be used with some limitations.
- The ticket purchase can be started with the button “Tickets” at the single dates but is only possible after an intermediate step in Telegram. Please start the respective dialogue by clicking the button “Start” in the Telegram chat.
- The game can be started at any time between 15-21 April using the activation code on your ticket and played at your own pace.
- Total play time: about two hours. Due to the nature of the piece, you will be receiving messages over the course of a couple days. You will be able to control the rate of the messages for the most part, though there will be some built-in breaks. At times, you might have to wait up to a day for the next message.
- Tickets (5 €, reduced 3 €) can only be purchased online and in single numbers.
