New formats have been tested, new tools have been programmed, dramaturgies of internet culture have been applied, networks have been expanded and new audiences have been reached. Projects in the digital or hybrid space often function transregionally and various barriers can be broken down. In performative game situations, new social models are tested in a unique way through shared experience. As social laboratories, participatory digital projects can often address relevant issues in an accessible way and create utopias in the process.
